Ricardo contacted me to illustrate the questions he asks every guest — pizza or hamburger?; pc or macbook?; what camera do you use? — and it was so much fun to work around the podcast colours and create these black background illustrations! I usually go for soft colour palletes but this reminded me of working with scratch boards in primary school, and maybe that’s why I’m so fond of them.
The illustrations are printed and framed at his studio and are used to decorate the walls at in-person events. It’s always such a joy to see them out and about!
